SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. — A 4-month-old who was allegedly abducted from San Joaquin County Saturday has been found safe, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office.

Officials say the child went missing from his home on Mokelumne Avenue around 4 p.m. and was taken by the mother's ex-boyfriend, 31-year-old Isaiah Reginal Michael Teague. Teague is not the infant's father, according to officials.

Sacramento Police Department officers found the suspect's 2012 black Audi A7 on Interstate 80 near Northgate Boulevard in Sacramento and a chase began, according to the sheriff's office. The chase ended a short time later.

Sacramento County deputies found the car abandoned near Business 80 and Auburn Boulevard and located Teague in a field with the help of a police helicopter.

The child was found unharmed at a relative's South Sacramento home. It's unclear if the relative is Teague's or the child's. The child is being returned to his mother.

No further information is available at this time.
