SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man was taken to the hospital after a shooting in the downtown Sacramento area.
According to the Sacramento Police Department, officers responded to a reported shooting in the area of 8th Street and J Street around 6:45 p.m. and found a man with at least one gunshot wound.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment. Police said he was in stable condition.
Police said a possible suspect was detained in the area of 5th and I streets, but the investigation is still ongoing.
