SACRAMENTO, Calif — One man was killed and another was injured in an early Saturday morning shooting in Midtown.
The two men were shot a little before 1 a.m. at the 2400 block of J St. according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Police said both men were brought to the hospital, where one man died from their injuries. The other man is in stable condition.
A criminal investigation has been launched. The police encourage anyone with any information regarding this investigation to contact them at (916) 808-5471.
The Sacramento County Coroner's Office will release the identity of the man who died as soon as their next of kin is notified.
