SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man is dead after being hit by a car in south Sacramento.
According to the California Highway Patrol, it happened around 7:13 p.m. on Florin Road and Franklin Boulevard.
CHP says the driver of the vehicle did not stay at the scene and information about the vehicle is not available.
The victim has not been identified yet, but CHP said he was 61 years old and from Sacramento.
