SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Deputies are investigating a shooting that was reported in Sacramento Monday night.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office, the shooting was reported along the 4000 block of 23rd Avenue.
A spokesperson for the sheriff's office said a man was shot at and drove himself to a hospital. Deputies also said he had a gun in the car and likely fired back during the incident. The man was initially described as a shooting victim until he confirmed with the sheriff's office that he was shot at.
Deputies said they haven't found anyone else who was hurt.
