STOCKTON, Calif. — One person is in the hospital after being shot in Stockton Sunday evening.
According to the Stockton Police Department, officers responded to the 2200 block of Scribner Street after a man was shot. Officials said the man took himself to a hospital before police arrived.
Police said the shooting actually happened in the area of Eighth Street and Bieghle Street, outside of Stockton Police Department's jurisdiction. The San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office will be taking over the case.
No additional information is immediately available. It's not clear what condition the victim is in.
