SACRAMENTO, Calif — Sacramento Police Department officers are investigating a shooting that left two people hurt near a Broadway business Wednesday afternoon.
Police said they were called to the 1400 block of Broadway around 4:30 p.m. about a shooting. A man and woman were taken to the hospital. The woman had non-life-threatening wounds and the man is in stable condition, police say.
Police are investigating in the area and have entirely blocked off the parking lot and nearby sidewalks around the Walgreens in the area. It's unclear if the shooting happened inside or outside the store or what led up to the shooting.
