SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Two people are dead as police continue a homicide investigation in the Parkway area of Sacramento.
Officer Anthony Gamble, spokesperson for the Sacramento Police Department, says officers were called to the 7300 block of Meadowgate Drive for disturbance report around 8 p.m.
He said arriving officers found a man hanging in the home, got him down and took him to the hospital where he later died. Police also found a woman with a stab wound who was pronounced dead on scene.
Few details surrounding the incident are available at this time, but Gamble says everything related to the incident was contained inside the house. No information on the relationship between the two people was immediately available.
