GALT, Calif. — Update 12:10 p.m.
The Galt Police Department responded to the 400 block of 5th Street and found one man with multiple stab wounds around 6:33 p.m. The man was taken to the hospital. About 30 minutes later, the police department was made aware of another man at an emergency room with multiple gunshot wounds. The police department said he is also expected to survive. The department doesn't have any suspect information at the moment and no information on motives. They are investigating the incidents.

Several Galt Police officers responded to the scene of a reported shooting, Friday night.
Officers were called to the area of D Street and 4th/5th Street Alley to investigate the shooting.
Few details have been released at this time, but on their Twitter page, Galt police said a “heavy police presence” would be in the area investigating. No word yet on any victims or suspects.
