STOCKTON, Calif. — Police are asking for the public's help identifying a suspect in a rape investigation.
According to a Facebook post from the Stockton Police Department, the rape happened on West Willow Street on March 1.
The victim, a 31-year-old woman, says she was sexually assaulted by an unkempt, middle-aged man with an average built, police say.
On March 10, the department released a composite of what they believe the suspect looks like.
Stockton Police are asking that anyone with information call the non-emergency phone line at (209) 937-8323.
Information can also be submitted through Stockton's anonymous Crime Stoppers tip line at (209) 946-0600. Stockton Crime Stoppers does offer a cash reward up to $10,000 for any information that leads to an arrest.

Linda O’Dell was 22 years old, at the time, on May 14, 1977 when she was sexually assaulted by the East Area Rapist who broke into her and her husband's home.
