Sacramento police investigating 3 people shot, hurt

Sacramento Police Department officers say they're investigating an afternoon shooting on Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. and if all three victims are connected.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Three people were hospitalized after being shot Saturday afternoon, according to the Sacramento Police Department. 

Officers responded to a shooting around 1:07 p.m. in the 3000 block of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd. Police say they found a minor with at least one gunshot wound and took him to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. 

Later, two men went to the hospital with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds as well. Sacramento Police Department officers say they're investigating the shooting and if all three are connected to the same shooting. 

A nearby building was also hit during the shooting. No other information is available at this time.
