Sacramento sheriff's office arrests man, recovers $10k of allegedly stolen goods

Officials say they found $10,000 of stolen goods in Simmuel Reed's home from shops like: WSS shoes, Bath & Body Works, Marshall's, Nike, Zumiez and more.

SACRAMENTO COUNTY, Calif. — A 20-year-old man was arrested in connection to "more than 15 large retail theft cases throughout Northern California" Friday, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.

The sheriff's office began investigating a felony retail theft in South Sacramento Tuesday which led investigators to search 
Simmuel Reed's home and arrest him on an outstanding warrant, according to a press release.

Officials say they found $10,000 of stolen goods in his home from shops like: WSS shoes, Bath & Body Works, Marshall's, Nike, Zumiez and others. Investigators say many of the items still had security tags and stickers on them.

Reed was taken to the Sacramento County Main Jail and investigators encourage anyone who believes their business may have been impacted by him to call officials sat 916-874-5115.
