SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Sacramento police say a man is dead following a shooting Friday evening.
Police say around 5:45 p.m. Friday officers responded to the area of Traction and Altos Ave for a shooting. That is where they found the man with at least one gunshot wound. They were taken to the hospital where they later died.
Not much is known about what led up to the shooting. Police have not released any suspect information.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office will release the identity of the deceased after the next of kin have been notified.
