SACRAMENTO, Calif — Five people were hospitalized after a shooting in Sacramento's Meadowview neighborhood Monday evening.
Officer Cody Tapley, spokesperson for the Sacramento Police Department, said the shooting was reported around 8 p.m. in the area of Meadowview Road and Coral Gables Court.
Arriving officers found five victims, which includes four adults and one juvenile. All of them were taken to the hospital with at least one gunshot wound. The victims included 3 men and 2 females.
In an update, Tapley said all five victims were in stable condition and expected to survive.
There's no suspect description at this time.
No other information surrounding the shooting or what led up to it has been released at this time.
