STOCKTON, Calif. — A man was put behind bars in connection to the deadly shooting of a teenager in Stockton.
The shooting was reported along the 8100 block of Palisades Drive on March 24.
Arriving officers found a 16-year-old boy with a gunshot wound. Despite being taken to a hospital, the teen died.
Eventually, police identified Marshawn Black, 23, as the suspect in the case, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.
Black was contacted by BART police and taken into custody for the warrant on Sept. 26. He was ultimately arrested in connection to the homicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
