SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. — A Stockton man was arrested Wednesday and accused of allegedly making a bomb threat directed at the San Joaquin County Superior Courthouse.
San Joaquin County Sheriff’s Office deputies allegedly located where the call for the bomb threat came from and arrested Juan Enrique Cantu Valles a few hours after the threat was made.
ABC10 previously reported the courthouse was evacuated shortly after the threat was made Wednesday morning and closed for the day. Deputies reportedly searched the 13-story building but didn't find anything.
The San Joaquin County District Attorney’s Office was also put on lockdown as a precaution.
Cantu faces several charges including criminal threats with intent to terrorize and making a false bomb threat, according to law enforcement.
