STOCKTON, Calif. — Authorities arrested three men suspected of robbing a mother and her teenage son in their own driveway, according to the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office.
The alleged robbery happened on the 5400 block of East Marsh Street in Stockton.
The woman and her son had come home from dinner on Friday evening when they were robbed by three people in their driveway, the sheriff's office said. Officials said one of the suspects flashed a gun.
Both Stockton Police Department and the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office were looking for a possible vehicle in similar crimes that happened in their jurisdiction.
Stockton police eventually found the car, but the sheriff's office says it led police on a chase. At one point during the chase, authorities said a gun was thrown out the window and eventually recovered by police.
Marcus Cobb, 21; Daniel Eastern, 21; and Anthony Espinoza, 19, were arrested on robbery-related charges and are also facing charges from the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office for crimes in their jurisdiction.
