STOCKTON, Calif. — A wanted suspect was taken into custody after two chases and a crash in Stockton Tuesday afternoon.
According to Stockton Police Department, officers initially spotted a wanted car in the area of Sierra Nevada Street and Park Street around 12:30 p.m. Police said the suspect led officers on a short chase, but it was canceled due to safety concerns.
Another chase would later start after the car was spotted by the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Office. Police said deputies tried to stop the car, but the suspect took off.
He ultimately crashed into another car and was taken into custody.
