ELK GROVE, Calif — Elk Grove police released the results of a crack down on street racing in their community.
According to Elk Grove Police Department, their officers did more than 80 vehicle stops, issued 50 citations, towed eight cars, arrested three people for reckless driving and one person for DUI Friday.
"Your safety is our top priority, and we're committed to making our roads a safer place for everyone," said Elk Grove police in a Facebook post.
It's not clear where the enforcement actions took place. A spokesperson for the police department said additional information regarding the enforcement wasn't available.
