STOCKTON, Calif. — A student is getting medical attention after a fight at Franklin High School in Stockton Tuesday afternoon.
According to Stockton Unified School District spokesperson Melinda Meza, there was a fight between two students where one stabbed the other. One of the students is in the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and the other is in custody.
In a message sent to parents, officials said the school was temporarily put on lockdown due to the fight, but the lockdown has since been lifted.
Meza said the fight happened around 2 p.m. and is considered an isolated incident.
