SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Deputies have arrested a man in connection to a homicide that happened in south Sacramento Sunday evening.
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said the victim's body was found with a gunshot wound under a bridge near the 8200 block of Gerber Road around 4 p.m. The victim was identified as 37-year-old Joshua Rash.
On Tuesday, the sheriff's office announced that 60-year-old Richard Bradford was arrested in connection to the homicide. He was booked into Sacramento County Main Jail on suspicion of murder.
Bradford is not eligible for bail and is expected to appear in court on Oct. 12.
