Sacramento police are looking for a teenager in connection to a 19-year-old woman's shooting death last month.
Antoine Weber, 16, is wanted for the murder of his brother's girlfriend Nicole Duarte, Sacramento Police Officer Michele Gigante said.
On Saturday, March 15, officers responded to the 7200 block of Gloria Drive around 12:37 a.m. after Duarte's neighbor called police. Duarte, suffering from a gunshot wound to her face, was able to go her neighbor's home to get help. After officers arrived at the scene, they transported to Duarte to a hospital, where she died two days later.
While the motive behind the shooting is unknown, investigators believe an argument between Duarte and Weber escalated into the shooting.
Investigators believe Weber's 22-year-old brother Raymond Weber was at the scene during the time of the shooting. Gigante said detectives want to talk to Raymond Weber about his involvement in the shooting. He is wanted for violating his parole stemming from charges not related to Duarte's murder.
Antoine Weber is considered armed and dangerous.
