ROSEVILLE, Calif. — Three peace officers hit by a suspected DUI driver are expected to recover after being hit at a Roseville intersection, according to Roseville Police Department.
On Monday around 1 p.m, police responded to the intersection of East Roseville Parkway and Taylor Road for reports of a traffic collision.
Witnesses at the scene told police that the driver, Clyde Gray, allegedly ran a red light just before hitting the three on-duty peace officers who were crossing the street. Two other vehicles were hit before Gray stopped his vehicle.
The three peace officers were identified as two deputies with the San Francisco Sheriff's Department and one Santa Clara County Sheriff's Deputy who were in Roseville for law enforcement training.
All were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The people who were in the vehicles Gray allegedly hit were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
