ARDEN-ARCADE, Calif. — A 15-year-old died after a shooting in Arden-Arcade Monday night.
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office responded to reports of a shooting around 10:15 p.m. in the 1900 block of Ethan Way.
A 15-year-old was shot in the chest with life-threatening injuries and a 20-year-old man was shot in the arm and expected to survive.
In an update after midnight, the sheriff's office said the 15-year-old died at a hospital. The names of the teenager and man haven't been released.
The sheriff's office said detectives believe the shooting may be gang-related. There's no information on a possible suspect in the shooting.
