Sacramento police spokesman Vance Chandler said Sunday that officers arrested Omari O'Neil on homicide charges in this case. The arrest was made Saturday, according to Chandler's statement.

Sacramento Police are investigating a shooting on the 3400 Block of Rio Linda Boulevard that claimed the life of one man.
The shooting took place in the street of a neighborhood cul-de-sac just before 2 p.m. on Saturday, according to the Sacramento Police Department.
Witnesses told police that multiple shots were fired.
Police do not have a suspect description or in custody, said Officer Marcus Basquez with Sacramento Police. However, police believe this is an isolated incident.
Nicole Aguilar said her brother was the victim. She has no idea what happened but is mourning the loss of her brother, Aguilar said.
Family, friends and community chaplains met on a corner near the victim’s home to pay their respects. They lit candles, placed a photo of the victim, and held hands while praying for the man who was shot.
