ANTELOPE, Calif. — Deputies have launched an investigation after a woman was shot in Antelope Tuesday afternoon.
The Sacramento County Sheriff's Office said the shooting was reported on Antelope Road and Watt Avenue around 2:40 p.m.
Few details surrounding the shooting and what led up to it have been released. Deputies said a woman was shot and taken to the hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
No suspect information is available at this time.
