MARYSVILLE, Calif. — A person was killed in a stabbing early Saturday morning in Marysville, officials say. Yuba County Sheriff's deputies say they arrested 27-year-old Michael Collier of Linda on suspicion of homicide.
Around 12:05 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to the 1100 block of North Beale Road on reports of a physical disturbance. At the scene, they found the victim who was taken to a hospital but later pronounced dead.
Law enforcement say they used security camera footage to identify Collier as the suspect. Deputies say they questioned him at their office before arresting him.
