DIXON, Calif. — Coffee for a cause.
The Dixon Dutch Bros. location is currently holding a fundraiser where it will donate $1 from every drink purchased to a fund for the families of the two teens who were electrocuted in Dixon earlier this week.
Jacob Hourmouzus and Jacob Schneider jumped into an irrigation canal in Solano County to try and rescue a dog. The two teens were able to rescue the dog, however, when they climbed out of the canal, they grabbed onto a bridge for support, when they were electrocuted and unable to let go.
In the past, the coffee company has held a similar fundraiser in honor of wildfire survivors, fallen Rancho Cordova Deputy Mark Stasyuk and fallen Davis Officer Natalie Corona.
