Emily Pritchard joined ABC10 in January of 2015. You can find her co-anchoring the weekend evening news and out covering all parts of the community during the week.
Emily is from Waynesville, Missouri and is a graduate of the University of Missouri.
During her time in Columbia, Missouri, she tried out every job in the newsroom while working at the NBC affiliate KOMU-8 News.
A sports-lover at heart, Emily later anchored and reported in South Bend, Indiana, home to the University of Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
While working at WBND, she traveled across the county covering Notre Dame Football. One of the highlights for her was spending a week in Miami following the Fighting Irish's 2012 undefeated regular season and their trip to the 2013 National Championship.
Less than a month after, she had a front row seat covering the national story of Notre Dame linebacker Manti Te'o's fake girlfriend saga.
Emily also got the opportunity to cover Super Bowl XLVI in Indianapolis and four consecutive NCAA Women's Final Four Tournaments in Indianapolis, Denver, New Orleans, and Nashville.
Emily has a passion for creativity and pushing limits. She won an Indiana Broadcasters Award (2012) for Best Use of Technology for going live from 'The Tin Goose' a Ford Trimotor plane.
In her free time she enjoys running and finished both the Chicago and Philadelphia Marathons. Her dog Albert, a boxer-mix, likes to stop after just a couple miles.
Emily strongly believes good things are happening everywhere, and she wants to help tell the story of what's great in your neighborhood. You can always email her at epritchard@abc10.com, or find her on Facebook and Twitter.
