SACRAMENTO, Calif. — The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office has confirmed the county's third heat-related death of 2024.
Stephanie Baker, a 53-year-old resident of Citrus Heights, died on Aug. 4, 2024, at Mercy San Juan from a heat stroke.
The Sacramento County Coroner’s Office said Baker died at the hospital, so they did not run an examination of her.
