ELK GROVE, Calif. — A 24-year-old man died in a two-car crash in Elk Grove early Thursday morning.
According to Elk Grove police, it happened around 5:15 a.m. on Grant Line Road between Elk Grove Boulevard and Bradshaw Road.
Police say the driver of a Honda was going east on Grant Line Road when he drifted into the westbound lane and collided with a white pickup truck.
The pickup truck driver was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, while the driver of the Honda – a 24-year-old man – was pronounced dead at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation and anyone with information can call the Elk Grove Police Department Traffic Bureau at 916-478-8148.
