SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, Calif. — One person died and two others are injured after a head-on crash in San Joaquin County Saturday morning.
The Calaveras Consolidated Fire Protection District said the crash happened at 10:24 a.m. on Highway 26 near Shelly Road outside of Linden.
The agency said the crash involved two vehicles and resulted in "serious injuries" to two other people in addition to the one death.
The cause of the crash is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol, Calaveras Consolidated said.
