YOLO COUNTY, Calif. — A person died after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday morning in Yolo County, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Around 10:15 a.m., officers responded to the collision along Highway 16 at County Road 18, according to the CHP’s Woodland office.
Officers said one party involved suffered major injuries; they later said a person died as a result of the incident.
Around 11:45 a.m., all westbound lanes of Highway 16, just west of County Road 18, were blocked due to the crash. Just after 12:30 p.m., Caltrans said all lanes were reopened and the roadway was clear.
