10 teens arrested for vandalism at Antelope Crossing Middle School, 2 more still wanted

The sheriff's office says detectives identified 12 minors involved in the alleged burglaries and vandalism leading to property damage in excess of $100,000.

ANTELOPE, Calif. — The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office arrested 10 teenagers on suspicion of more than 100 felonies related to vandalism at Antelope Crossing Middle School.

Investigators say they received six crime reports between April and July 2024 leading to complete investigation by the Sheriff’s Property Crimes Bureau.

The sheriff's office says detectives identified 12 minors involved in the alleged burglaries and vandalism leading to property damage in excess of $100,000. Only 10 of the minors have been arrested so far.

A list of charges: 

  • 56 charges of PC 459 (Burglary) 
  • 35 charges of PC 182 (Conspiracy) 
  • 11 charges of PC 594 (Vandalism) 
  • 1 charge of PC 18740 (Possession of Destructive Device with Intent to Intimidate)

Deputies are still looking for the two remaining teens and additional suspects haven't been identified yet. Additionally charges are expected.

“We thank the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office for their diligent efforts and collaboration in identifying and apprehending the individuals responsible for vandalizing Antelope Crossing Middle School. This outcome shows the power of community partnership in maintaining the safety and integrity of our schools. While these incidents are disheartening, we are incredibly proud of the resilience demonstrated by our school community,” said Dry Creek Joint Elementary School District Superintendent Brad Tooker.
