As part of an operation involving several local agencies, a dozen people were arrested Wednesday in a human trafficking sting in Sacramento County.
The 12 people were arrested on several charges including soliciting a prostitute, supervising or aiding a prostitute, and outstanding warrants, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department.
The operation was coordinated by The Sacramento County Sheriff’s Department, Rancho Cordova Police Department, Sacramento County District Attorney’s Office, and Sacramento Police Department, in addition to advocacy groups.
