CERES, Calif. — 15 people are displaced after a fire in Ceres damaged two duplexes.
According to Modesto Fire Department, the fire happened in the area of Glen Ridge Drive and Glen Meadow Court around 3:15 p.m.
Crews arrived and found two duplexes with fire coming out of them.
Seven engines and two trucks responded to get the blaze under control. Ultimately, 10 adults and five children were displaced and one cat was rescued.
No firefighters were hurt. The fire remains under investigation.
