TURLOCK, Calif. — Turlock police say they arrested 17 suspects after a recent online chat sting to catch people seeking sex with underage children.
With support from Sacramento and Stanislaus County law enforcement, Turlock police ran a sting operation Jan. 5 and 6. Police arrested 12 suspects who were local to the area and five suspects who came from outside the county.
All suspects were booked into the Stanislaus County Jail, most of them on a $500,000 bail.
