2 arrested after deadly shooting in Sacramento's Greenhaven neighborhood

The arrests come after a deadly early morning shooting on April 29.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — Two people were arrested in the last week in connection with a deadly April shooting in Sacramento’s Pocket-Greenhaven neighborhood.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, 24-year-old Taquez Foster-Worsham was arrested July 10 and 28-year-old Jamar Anderson was arrested July 16 in Indio.

Both were arrested on suspicion of homicide and robbery.

The arrests come after a deadly shooting around 3 a.m. April 29.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting on the 6200 block of Riverside Drive and found a man with at least one gunshot wound. He was taken to the hospital where he later died from his injuries.

Officers later found it started on the 900 block of Johnfer Way.

They have not said what led up to the shooting. Anyone with information can call dispatch at 916-808-5471.
