GRASS VALLEY, Calif. — Two people are in custody after they allegedly shot at a car full of people in Grass Valley.
The Nevada County Sheriff's Office says Reese Lanskey-Stevens, 18, and River Harris, 20, were arrested Wednesday in connection with the shooting. Lanksey-Stevens was booked on suspicion of criminal conspiracy, stalking and committing a felony while on bail, while Harris was booked on suspicion of criminal conspiracy.
The investigation began Tuesday night when police were called to the 10000 block of Sundown Place near Cedar Crest. The caller said a person’s car was being shot at and being followed by the suspects in a red four-door hatchback.
The people in the car that was shot at were able to get away without injuries.
The Nevada County Sheriff’s Office tracked down Lanksey-Stevens and Harris around 2 p.m. Wednesday. Investigators pulled over the car and arrested the two after 2:30 p.m.
