STOCKTON, Calif. — A third man is in custody after a deadly April shooting in Stockton.
According to the Stockton Police Department, 19-year-old Sir Roots was arrested June 26 after two robberies. He was booked into the San Joaquin County Jail on suspicion of robbery and homicide.
The case he’s accused in happened just before 1 a.m. April 6 at Wood Duck Circle and Quail Lakes Drive. Officers were called for a solo vehicle accident and found a vehicle in the median. The man inside had a gunshot wound and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The first suspect, 18-year-old Jadari Benson, was arrested May 6 during a traffic stop.
The second suspect, 18-year-old Rafael Galvan, was arrested May 24 by the Long Beach Police Department.
The investigation into the deadly shooting is ongoing.
