SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A man is dead and a woman hospitalized after a shooting in Arden-Arcade Friday afternoon.
According to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office, it happened around 2 p.m. at the pool area of an apartment complex on Annadale Lane.
Upon arrival, deputies found a man with a gunshot wound to the chest. He died at the scene.
A second victim was taken to the hospital by private vehicle before deputies arrived. The sheriff’s office says she was shot in the head and is expected to survive.
The man who was shot and killed hasn’t been identified yet. No suspect information or motive is available at this time.
