ARDEN-ARCADE, Calif. — A man is in the hospital with major injuries after a car accident in Arden-Arcade Thursday evening, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash happened on Watt Avenue and Adams Road around 8:30 p.m. Officials say a Chevy Spark, driven by a man in his 40's, was driving northbound on Watt Ave. when it made a u-turn and broadsided a Toyota Camry.
The Chevy flipped, injuring the driver who was later taken to the hospital with major injuries, according to CHP. The two men in their 20's were in the Camry and were taken to the hospital on complaints of pain.
Officials are investigating and do not suspect DUI to be a contributing factor to the crash. No other information is available at this time.
