ARDEN-ARCADE, Calif. — A man was arrested on suspicion of DUI after a deadly crash early Thursday morning in Arden-Arcade.
According to the California Highway Patrol, it happened around 12:30 a.m. on Fair Oaks Boulevard at Mission Avenue.
The CHP said a Dodge Ram driven by a man in his 20s traveled west on Fair Oaks Boulevard as a Chevrolet Camaro driven by a woman in her 60s headed south on Mission Avenue.
The two vehicles collided in the intersection and the driver of the Camaro died. The driver of the Dodge was not injured.
CHP said the driver of the Dodge was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol.
Law enforcement continues to investigate the accident.
