FAIRFIELD, Calif. — An Armijo High School student was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly brought a loaded gun on campus.
According to a news release, a Fairfield school resource officer assigned to the school was told about a problem between two male students where one threatened to harm the other.
An administrator walked the student who made threats to the office and his backpack was searched.
Police say the SRO found a bag inside the backpack containing a loaded pistol with an extended magazine.
The student was taken to Solano County Juvenile Hall Detention Facility to be booked on weapons-related charges.
