PLACER COUNTY, Calif. — A semi-truck fire along westbound I-80 was blocking a lane in Placer County Thursday, according to California Highway Patrol.
CHP described it as a semi-truck fire in initial reports at Horseshoe Bar Road in Loomis. The semi-truck was blocking the third lane but has since been moved onto the shoulder.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area as crews are still working on cleaning up.
