PG&E: Hundreds of customers are without power in Placer County

Blizzard conditions continue in the Sierra today with no real let-up in sight.

PLACER COUNTY, Calif — According to the Pacific Gas and Electric outage map, over 1,000 customers in Placer County are without power. Most customers are in the unincorporated Placer County area, some in Auburn and others in Lincoln.

The cause of the outages is unknown at this time. There is no estimated time for when power will be restored.

Northern California is in the middle of a major winter storm. Blizzard conditions continue in the Sierra today with no real let-up in sight. The Blizzard Warning continues until Sunday morning. Winter Storm Warnings continue in the Coastal Range and Shasta County mountains.
