SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A woman who died after being hit by a car in Sacramento last week has been identified.
The Sacramento County Coroner's Office identified the victim in the deadly crash as 48-year-old Azure Amonti Daniels of Sacramento.
The crash happened in the area of Sutterville Road and 21st Street near Sacramento City College around 9 p.m. Sept. 12, according to the Sacramento Police Department. The victim died from her injuries four days later, police said.
Police previously said the driver is cooperating with the investigation.
