Brandon Aiyuk's Decision: The choice that can redefine his NFL legacy

SANTA CLARA, Calif. — San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is coming off from playing one of his best seasons but where he suits up this season is still up in the air.

Aiyuk was named second-team All-Pro in 2023 thanks to a career-best of 1,342 receiving yards helping lead the 49ers to the Super Bowl.

In the offseason, he requested a trade from the 49ers. So far, there's still no agreement from both sides as to a long-term contract for Aiyuk or a trade.

For many 49er fans, Aiyuk is a hometown favorite being born in Rocklin and playing at Sierra College. Here's a look at his career timeline.
