YUBA COUNTY, Calif. — A man was killed Saturday in a solo motorcycle crash in Yuba County.

Just after 6:30 p.m., California Highway Patrol (CHP) officers said they responded to a motorcycle and its rider down an embankment along County Road 21 at Skyglen Drive.

Upon arrival, medical personnel pronounced the 29-year-old Browns Valley man dead at the scene, according to a news release from CHP’s Yuba-Sutter division. He drove a 2025 Honda motorcycle, and no other vehicles nor people were involved in the crash.

The cause of the crash is under investigation, and law enforcement said it is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor.
