A Wednesday morning burglary of a Grass Valley gun shop has Nevada County sheriff’s deputies searching for suspects.
The shop, Mustang Firearms, was burglarized just after 8 a.m., deputies said. Investigators believe the suspects to be two black male adults.
The store owner told police as many as 20 handguns were stolen.
Using masks and gloves to conceal their identities, the suspects reportedly forced entry into the front door of the shop and took the firearms from the display cases.
The suspects then left in an unknown direction, deputies said, driving a newer, gunmetal grey, Nissan “Juke” with paper plates.
Deputies are asking for help identifying the suspects, and retrieving the firearms stolen. Those with information can call the Nevada County Sheriff’s Office at 530-265-1263.
